No! you are just going by price. Why buy a Polaroid when you have Fuji, Sony, Canon and Nikon in the market. I feel Canon makes a decent camera for every budget, in your price range stick with Canon.

You may be under the assumption that this Polaroid Digital Camera is from the linage of the Polaroid instant cameras. It is not. Polaroid went bankrupt at the end if its run producing instant cameras and film and sold their name to a generic Digital Camera company.
Look on this link and see if you can find a similar camera you like there.

In addition to the specs you listed, you will want to find a camera that has specified white balance options which includes "auto" mode
They (Polaroid) call the 4x Digital zoom, as "minor cropping" A 400% reduction in quality is not minor in my opinion.
