Which one. Canon SD780 or SD940?

I can't choose a camera
there practically the same camera I think but..
I need a new camera while I wait for my DSLR Camera
that i need for school this year in sept.

my old Canon PowerShot a590 died.. crappy camera anyway.

Which would you choose ?
which one is the latest??

you can go to canon's website, and do a side by side comparison

They are very similar cameras. The 940 is a newer release.

You should be able to try both of them at a camera shop, or even best buy, and see which one feels more comfortable to you.

I would recommend you to go with Canon PowerShot SD780IS the only thing is it doesnt have a wide-angle lens
