Pretty much all of them also let you download manuals for their stuff, just in case you lost your book.

It is worthwhile reading the manual, it will answer pretty much any question you have about the product, plus you'll even learn some more.

Are you really sure you want an ugly time stamp on your photos?

Do you realize that every camera records the EXIF info along with every photo? There are many ways of looking up that information, so you'll always know the date/time and many more things, anyway.

If you really need to show the date on the actual photo, you could always add it as text in post processing later, but it is harder to make that ugly stamp disappear.
