How do I get the pictures to show up again on my camera?
i just got a Sony Cybershot DSC-H10. i transferred pictures from internal memory to my memory card. I uploaded them on my computer. I wanted to put them in separate files so i named the files and separated the pictures how i wanted them. I put the memory card back in my camera and the pictures will not show up. But, when i put the memory card in the computer, the pictures show up how i had them.
You can ONLY view images on your camera that the camera itself originally took...and those same images have not been changed in any way, shape or form.
So, the reason you cannot view them on your camera...is because you have changed the original file name created by the camera.
But, I don't see what the problem is, anyway. You have already transferred your images to your computer and that's where they should be. Your camera is only a camera...it's not meant to be a general image viewer.
The pictures have to be in the same folder as the camera put them in on your memory card. They also have to have the same file naming system. However you should be able to view pictures not taken by the camera on the LCD if you follow the file naming and placement rules. But if they are not the same shape they may end up distorted on the LCD.
