what type of memory card do I buy for this camera?

It is a Kodak EasyShare C613 with 3x optical zoom and its 6.2 mega pixels.... :P

Best Answer

You can use either a Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC), or MultiMediaCard (MMC) memory card with your Kodak EasyShare C613.

Per the Kodak product website (linked below):
"16 MB internal memory available, SD/MMC card expansion slot, SDHC support"

Goes to show the incompetence of some people on Yahoo! Answers when they themselves-self-proclaimed "experts" and "pros" nonetheless-prematurely post smug advice without doing the proper research.

SD since it cannot use a SDHC card.

I would suggest you buy two 1 gb cards instead of one 2 gb. Why? Because far too many times people fill the card in the camera and then are tempted to delete old files to make room for new ones and this is almost a sure way to corrupt the whole card.

Using a smaller card and copying all the images you shot to your computer as soon as you get home, is the best way to prevent corrupting cards.

Any brand SD card will work just fine

You need SD cards. They are very affordable.

You can get a 2GB card for as little as $9 (see link below).

Hope this helps.

Do some people NEVER bother to read their User Manuals???

You can only use SD cards (with a capacity up to 2GB). You cannot use high capacity SD (SDHC).
