where can i download free software for a canon power shot sd 1200? mac compatible?
i lost my cd software and my photos will not load to computer.

The simple way to solve this problem is with a card reader. They're available where ever cameras are sold for little $$. No extra software, no cable and no hassle.
Answer by Jim A on 01 Jan 2010 10:19:21You do not need that software from Canon for your Mac, just get a USB card reader, plug in the USB card reader into a powered USB hub, plug in the card and it will appear on your Mac like a disk or hard drive. Then just transfer (drag and drop) your image files over to a folder in your Mac hard drive.

You don't need the software.
Either use a card reader or the supplied USB cord, your mac should do the rest. Make sure your camera is in playback/review mode.
