Is now a good time to buy a Canon T1i DSLR?
I don't know how often Canon updates or replaces its products, but will a T1i successor come out anytime soon? I always like having the newest technology, and it would be a shame to spend so much on a camera only to have it be outdated in a few months. Should i buy a T1i now or wait? Thanks!
Hey! I was going to buy that exact model 4 days ago during winter break but then I decided to get a Nikon D90 which is more user friendly and has a better shutter. But then unless you are used to cameras, that model and any other Canon will be less user-friendly to photographers cause they dont have the ? button that tells you what a mode does. But I think you should get it now if you want. it looks like a good canon. I think you should get a D90. its really good and the movie quality is so clear its like real life in 20/20. But yeah. Even if it outdated, it DOESNT mean that the newer product will be better. My canon elph was really good until i lost it and had to get another one. However it was sold out so I got a newer version of the elph... but it had lower quality and a slower shutter (these were reg Digital cameras)

Just buy one and start using it until you have mastered using all of if features and are competent enough to produce perfectly exposed images EVERY time you press the shutter release. Then you may want to think about upgrading ... but buying every other release is a good practice
