Digital Camera - Q & A

alright i have a sony camera
i dropped it this afternoon on the pavement
[it turned out ok]
i polished it off n shtuff
so i started to film again
it was working perfectly
like i hadnt dropped it or anything
i go to plug it into the computer and all the pictures get downloaded.
and all that stuff
THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM COMES IN
soooooo
i was filming for another music video
and the camera was working fine.
i went to plug it in,
and this showed up on the screen:
"USB Mode Connecting...
Switch on [Menu]"
what does this mean?
IS IT BROKEN.?!?!!?
PLEASE HELP!!!
